Purex Insider Product Review- Purex Fresh Pet
Purex is known for enhancing the lives of laundry fans everywhere, but what if they expanded their fan base to include those furry little critters that run around on 4 feet? Well, you are in luck! Purex realizes that those furry little critters have a wardrobe too. Those wardrobes get hair on them, mud on them, food on them, and well...sometimes they just get funky smelling. Purex Insiders Product Review- Purex No Sort for Colors (fresh scent) Laundry Detergent
As a Purex Insider, I was chosen to try out Purex No Sort for Colors and write a product review. Purex provided me with a full size product to try out and also sent coupons for me to provide to some of my lucky readers! The opinions herein are my own.
First of all, I was very iffy about a laundry detergent that was telling me it was ok to wash all of my colors together. I honestly wondered if it would hold true or if my family's clothes would be ruined. However, I reminded myself that I have trusted Purex brands for many years, and Purex has never failed me, so I gave it a try! I threw in a load of my 4-1/2 yrs old son's dirty clothes and washed them with Purex No Sort for Colors. So, I put the clothes in and added the correct dosage of Purex No Sort, and then I wished for the best!
Wow!!! It worked great! No bleeding. No transferring of colors. No issues at all!!! Boy was my son lucky! Haha! Purex No Sort may not be a miracle, but when my husband can wash a mixed load of clothes, since he never separates anything, and nothing comes out a different color from what it originally was, then you KNOW you have a great product!
Purex states, "Purex No Sort for Colors detergent features a breakthrough Anti-Color-Transfer Technology, which traps loose dyes in the wash and reduces color bleeding accidents in your mixed color loads leaving your clothes bright and clean." There is a warning to the consumer to only use this on clothing that has been washed, separately, at least 5 times to prevent mixing of colors.

As a Purex Insider, I was recently chosen to try out the Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh. In exchange for my review, I received one full size bottle to try out and also coupons to give to some of my lucky readers! The opinions stated are my own.
When I received the email that I had been chosen to try out this new Purex Crystals, I was so excited! I absolutely LOVE Purex Crystals! Every single one of them smells beautifully! I honestly can't say which one is my favorite...well, until now!
The first difference I noticed in the Purex Crystals Limited Edition Fabulously Fresh is that the bottle appears to be bigger than the other scents. It is 28 ounces. The second thing that I noticed was the beautiful bottle. It reminds me of a piece of art work! The last thing that I immediately noticed was how scrumptious this smells. I can't really think of an exact flower that it smells like, but it's a sweet floral scent. (Maybe sweet pea???) The crystals are green like the bottle.
The first load of clothes I put in belonged to my 4-1/2 years old son. As always, I put the Purex Crystals in, then I put the clothes in. When the cycle was done, my whole laundry room smelled so darn good! I took his clothes out, and I could not help but to sniff them. They were just...oh my gosh...paradise!
As with all Purex Crystals products, Purex promotes that the clothes will smell "for weeks, not days." I can say that, with my experience, the clothes DO smell fresh for weeks but it's more of a clean smell rather than the smell they come out of the wash with. Purex Crystals also claim that they "do not reduce the absorbency of towels." In my experience, I would agree with this claim. I've never had a problem with my towels losing absorbency. Purex Crystals also claim that they are "safe for all loads, including children's sleepwear and athletic wear." In my experience, this is true. I have not had any problems with using Purex Crystals.
All in all, I'd say this is probably the "best" Purex Crystals yet!

Expo Tryology Product Review: Finish Power Up All in 1 Detergent Booster
As a member of Expo's Tryology panel, I was recently chosen to try out the new Finish Power Up All in 1 Detergent Booster. I was sent a full-sized sample of the product to use in my home in exchange for my product review and blog post. The opinions in this review are my own.
Upon receiving my bottle of Finish Power Up All in 1 Detergent Booster, I immediately put it to use. (Good thing I had some messy dishes to wash. Definitely a great challenge for this product!) I loaded up my countertop dishwasher with all of the messy dishes from our barbeque dinner the night before (yes, I know, I should have washed them the night before, but if I did that, then I would not have had the messiest dishes possible, for this review! Sometimes you have to think positively!). Once I got the dishes loaded, I poured in the Finish Power Up All in 1 Detergent Booster and then I poured in our gel dish detergent. I honestly did not know what to expect from this product. I have used other brands of detergent boosters in the past, and they did not really do what they advertised, so I was not holding my breath!
After 1 hour and 25 minutes of cycling, our dishwasher stopped, and the results were in....
No more barbecue sauce!!! It worked!!! If I had washed this load of dishes, with barbecue sauce stuck to the dishes, I know the dishes would have still had barbecue sauce on them. However, with the added bonus of adding Finish Power Up All in 1 Detergent Booster to our regular gel detergent, it definitely did its job! I was very impressed!
If your dishes seem to never get as clean as you want them, or you are looking to boost the cleaning power of your regular dishwasher detergent, I highly recommend giving this product a try! I doubt you will be disappointed! I wasn't! Finish Power Up All in 1 Detergent Booster definitely gets 5 out of 5 stars from me! *On a side note, I am unsure of what type of water we have in our community, but I do believe it's hard water. Chatterbox by Houseparty.com Product Review- Mable's Labels
As a member of Houseparty.com, I was chosen to try out and review adorable products from Mable's Labels. I was given the chance to place a FREE order to try out a Basic Kit of Mabel's Labels, at no cost to me, in exchange for my product review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
I am the busy mom of 2 kids, ages 12 and 4, and they are very active. They go to school, do sports, do clubs and after-school activities, and they are constantly on the go. To know that I could properly identify an item of theirs with a simple tag, if needed, in the event that they left something behind somewhere, is ingenious! I loved the idea! However, I have never been too keen on putting my kids' first names on anything that they take outside of the home, for the simple fact that I would not want someone to call them by their names and make them think the person knows him or her. I got around that idea though and used our last name, which most people can't even pronounce. LOL Using our last name also means that the labels could be used on items for the whole family, too.
The standard kit, that was sent to me, included a booklet of a variety of labels. There were Skinny-Minis (designed to identify even the smallest school supplies, etc), Tag Mates (laundry-safe labels for clothes that require no ironing or sewing), Shoe Labels (extra-tough labels that peel and stick to the insoles of footwear), and Bag Tags (tough, waterproof metal tags for backpacks, sporting equipment, luggage, and more). My kit also came with 5- $10 off coupon cards for me to give to my readers!!!

Mable's Labels are very durable and can be used on pretty much anything! These are just 2 ways that I have used them for my kids!
The above pictures show the Skinny-Minis being used on my daughter's craft box and on my son's Leap Pad Ultra. There are so many uses for these adorable labels.
